LIMITED EDITION "STAY HOME" CHARITY POSTCARDS

PRESS RELEASE :

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, visual artist Zoë Zimmer used her time in lockdown to create a series of images that were based around the UK’s NHS slogan “Stay home, save lives”, to take a lighthearted look at being confined to your home.

Photographing herself in a range of domestic situations that she art directed in her London flat, Zimmer used her signature voyeuristic style to look “through the keyhole” at life in isolation.

As a contribution to the national effort to help fight coronavirusZoë turned her “Stay Home” series into a set of postcards that were sold online to raise money for London based food redistribution charity, The Felix Project. The charity collects and distributes food across the city to the most vulnerable, which was needed more than ever at the height of the pandemic. Through the sale of her postcards, Zoë raised enough money to distribute over 5,500 meals to those who needed it most.
